The FALIBRAS project began in 2001 at the Federal University of Alagoas, and was originally designed to facilitate communication between deaf and hearing people, through an automatic translation tool of Portuguese for Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) in its lively, gestural and in real time.

Our contribution was 2D animations in one of the project phases. Below is a sample of some.
